The Municipalities of Sudbury East (French River, Markstay-Warren, Killarney and St.-Charles) retained the services of KPMG LLP to provide an objective evaluation of the operations, staffing and equipment level and service offerings currently provided by each municipality, with the view of identifying potential opportunities to share services intended to increase operating effectiveness and efficiency while reducing operating costs.
On March 23, 2017, the Sudbury East Municipalities Association (SEMA) received the Final Report, and Council adopted it on April 5, 2017.
The considerations for implementing the Opportunities and their prioritization are reported to Council on a monthly basis or as necessary; additional information on the items is available within the Council Agenda Packages and Minutes or by contacting Management.
